RADIUS, a new facility for youth in the juvenile justice system, recently opened in Omaha, Nebraska. The nonprofit organization operates on a five-acre campus in North Omaha and will start offering services in July. The facility will accommodate a maximum of 24 individuals between the ages of 12 and 18 who have been directed to attend by a judge within the juvenile justice system. The establishment of RADIUS is intended to address the lack of comprehensive care options available to troubled youth in the Omaha area, including those dealing with mental health issues, trauma, and substance abuse.
